COURSES

At Confident Captain/Ocean Pros you can study and test for many different courses designed to excel mariners at all levels. Whether you are looking to get your OUVP/6-Pak license, upgrade to a 200GT ton license, or get your RYA Yachtmaster Certification, Confident Captain/Ocean Pros has a class to meet your needs. All of our courses are held at our maritime training facility conveniently located in the heart of downtown Newport and is accessible by foot, tender or launch. US COAST GUARD COURSES:
Confident Captain is proud to offer several courses approved by the USCG. All courses not only meet but exceed USCG regulations. The final examination for each course is administered at our training facility in Newport, RI.

RYA YACHTMASTER OFFSHORE:
Confident Captain is one of only two elite facilities in the United States to offer the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Sail Certification. Upon successful completion of the course, Yachtmasters will be certified to captain vessels up to 200 tons and over 22 countries will recognize their certification.

CUSTOMIZED TRAINING PACKAGES:
Confident Captain/Ocean Pros has designed the Tactical and First Responder Training courses to help agencies train personnel in order to be prepared for any situation at sea.
